The reconstruction of the centralized heat supply system of the Avan district, Erevan, the Republic of Armenia.
Russian and Armenian partners are undertaking the project ‘Heat in every home’ - the reconstruction of centralized heat supply system of Avan district, Erevan. ArmRosCogeneration CJSC is the joint venture company that implementing the project. EuroSibEnergo-Engineering LLC is the founder of Russian side.
The centralized heat supply system had been operated in full capacity till 1992, in 2002 the boiler-house in Avan district stopped its functioning. The project will allow achieving the guaranteed providing heat and hot water to the citizen at popular price.
This will be realized by means of the implementation of modern technologies of combined production of heat and electric power with high efficiency fuel usage, distribution and metering of heat in multifamily houses. For these purposes the CHP plant of total capacity of 5,78 MW will be constructed.
Within the framework of pilot project the first 7 houses have been connected to hot water supply system. Totally it is planning to connect more than 200 houses, childcare centers, schools and other social objects. 30 thousand citizens of Erevan will be provided with heat and hot water.
At the moment the construction of the first start-up complex are in the process, including 76 houses with total number of residents 10 000 people. The complex will put into operation in 2009.
